The VX-3150DS is designed to provide stable 31V DC power to all system components (Frames and Amplifiers) while simultaneously managing a backup battery bank. It is the "safety net" of the system, capable of switching to battery power instantly if the AC mains supply drops.The TOA VX-3150DS is a highly reliable, rack-mountable power supply manager engineered exclusively to deliver stable DC power and intelligent battery management for TOA’s premier VX-3000 Series voice evacuation system. Fully certified to the stringent EN 54-4 European standard for fire detection and alarm systems, this mission-critical emergency manager ensures your life-safety network remains completely operational, even during total mains power failures.
Occupying 2U of standard EIA rack space, the unit features a smart built-in battery charger optimized for keeping 24V sealed lead-acid backup batteries at peak capacity. It automatically transitions to secondary battery power instantly during blackouts without audio dropouts or system resets. The VX-3150DS is heavily equipped with six independent 31V DC power outputs (each fitted with its own circuit breaker) to safely distribute power to multiple digital amplifier modules and voice evacuation frames.
To streamline system integration, it includes an uninterruptible 24V DC service output alongside a specialized 24V DC auxiliary output for auxiliary network gear. Built-in status indicators provide instant tracking of mains connectivity, charging status, and battery conditions, ensuring seamless commercial security.
